Boudoir Productions began with Boudoir Bar. It is how Crimson chose "Boudoir" as her nom de plume.
Boudoir Bar was located in Brooklyn on Smith street from 2001-2005 and was called "the sexiest little bar in Brooklyn" for its' decor of red velvet and painted headboard wall. It also was host to some of New York's hottest burlesque performers, funniest comics, indie song writers, and film makers.
The term, "Burlesque" has been so misunderstood that Crimson Boudoir (as she is known to her burlesque friends and fans), has made it her mission to spread the gospel of burlesque where it does not exist.
Currently she is working on producing THE
ORANGE BLOSSOM BURLESQUE FESTIVAL. This festival will take place in Ft. Lauderdale March 24-27th of 2011.
Crimson Boudoir believes that Florida will become a viable place for the return of
this century old art form.
"Burlesque is about empowering women. There is no nudity in burlesque, only the suggestion of it. Burlesque helps women to accept the shape and size of their own bodies, as well as others. This art form helps to break the many stereotypes that the media imposes upon women all over the world. The message in burlesque is clear. Women are not only beautiful and sensual, but they are also powerful."
Crimson Boudoir teaches burlesque workshops for women in the privacy of their own homes, (South Florida and New York) and has been written up in
Erotic New York for her classes. She will be holding a burlesque workshop in July of 2010 in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Click on "

Crimson Boudoir currently splits her time between West Palm Beach and New York City.
